Pon, Pon, Pata, Pon. Now go buy it. Pata, Pata, Pata, Pon. It will all make sense soon.
You are chanting along with them soon after the first five minutes.Very good graphics. It's a little less complicated.Pata pata pata pon.Pata pata pata pon.Pon Pon pata pon.FEVER. Like every other reviewer, I just find this game thrilling and fun.The music sung by the Patapon is just great. I also have Patapon 2, but I still find this better.
The only reason why I dont give it 5 stars is because of the limited content. However, I don't regret buying this game for even a second. This game is pretty addicting, considering all you're doing is pressing buttons to match a rythem. You also make an army and upgrade warriors, but that isnt the emphasis. TRY IT.
Patapon was very difficult to play while traveling because it required button pressing to the beat of the music. Not being able to blast the music caused me to have a difficult time keeping up with anything but the first few levels. If you're going to be playing at home or can just blast the music without worrying about hearing outside noise then check out some of the other reviews that touch on gameplay. When I buy a game for any portable system it's because I'm going to be playing the game on the road and not sitting at home playing it. I don't generally turn the music up very loud on my system when traveling as I need to hear whats going on around me (such as my cell phone ringing or a gate change at an airport).
Can be very challenging and frustrating and difficult but it is always fun and addicting. In my car. Mom overslept again. I figure if I feed my addiction it can't get the best of me right. Welllll you know what they say about good intentions. Filling my car up with gas.
At the grocery story when deciding on which brand of frozen waffles to buy. I tried it for about 2-3 hours and just couldn't get into it. So I traded it in on my next visit to that every popular game place. It was like a mantra---and it wouldn't let go.
I bought another copy. EVERYWHERE I went I heard Pata-Pata-Pata-PON. Good to know I've supported this game not once but twice. I tried it again and this time kept playing when I got to the rain juju part. That is my Patapon story.
So couple more weeks pass while I try my best to get this out of my head (and my life.I mean I didn't even have the game anymore). Seriousl-GREAT game. Finally one day I just completely caved. Seriously.I first bought this game when I got my PSP (several months ago). I now play every night but for only about an hour. Waking.
Others have discussed the gameplay so I won't rehash. So the moral of my story is that when one stays up late to play this game to just hear one more Pata-Pata-Pata-PON -- that this can have the non desired result of making one miss one's alarm clock. This game is seriously addictive and should come with a warning. Then came the dreams. I could not get this out of my head.
Patapon's Anonymous anyone. Maybe there is a group for us. Yes indeedy. Sleeping. I figured out what to do with an online walkthrough which really helped me.
